Your BRAVO Yogurt – From Preparation to Enjoyment

Preparation:

The preparation of BRAVO yogurt in your kitchen is simple:

  1. Boil 1 liter of milk while stirring, then let it cool to about 40°C (do not stir)
  2. Remove the milk skin
  3. Add about 200 ml of the lukewarm milk to a glass bowl, stir in 1 sachet of ActiveBRAVO (optional: 5 ml olive oil)
  4. Add the remaining milk and mix well
  5. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and let it rest at room temperature (21–30°C) for 24–48 hours – do not move, do not stir!
  6. After reaching the gel consistency, mix well and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours

Tip: It is best to use cow’s whole milk with 3.8% fat in organic quality – it provides the highest quality protein and nutrient content for your BRAVO yogurt.

 

Consumption:

Take a moment for your microbiome every day:

Adults: About 140 ml of BRAVO yogurt daily
Children: Adjust the daily amount according to body weight

When is the best time? After or together with a fiber-rich meal – for example, stirred in with ColoSTABIL®.

 

Tip:

  • Stir well before consumption
  • Do not add sugar or artificial sweeteners – these inactivate the beneficial bacteria
  • Also watch out for hidden sweeteners in drinks and food (gum, soft drinks, etc.)

 

Storage:

Finished yogurt: Keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Do not freeze.

Ferment powder: Store sealed, protected from light and moisture in the refrigerator. In the freezer, it is shelf-stable for up to 12 months longer.

  • Free from colorings and preservatives, flavors, soy, gluten, wheat, rice, egg, and nuts

In case of cow’s milk allergy:
Any mammal milk (goat, sheep) is suitable for preparation. Choose a milk that you tolerate well.

In case of lactose intolerance:
During fermentation, most of the lactose is broken down by lactic acid bacteria. BRAVO yogurt is almost lactose-free after complete fermentation. Adjust the consumption amount accordingly if you are highly sensitive.

In case of casein intolerance:
The casein-containing milk skin is removed during preparation – only small residual amounts remain. Adjust the consumption amount accordingly if you are highly sensitive.
