Plastic packaging for products against microplastics? Why are there no single-ingredient products? I can get comparable products much cheaper! Why do we often express ourselves so awkwardly and incomprehensibly?
Have you ever wondered why we always formulate everything so awkwardly? Why we often beat around the bush so much that sometimes you can hardly understand anything anymore? Can’t we do it differently? Yes, we could. However, the EU regulation on nutritional and health claims (Health Claim Regulation) stipulates that no general and unverifiable health-promoting effects of a dietary supplement may be advertised. Therefore, it will continue with formulations like can contribute to normal digestion instead of simply against constipation and bloating or can support the body’s detoxification instead of for detoxification. Why do most of our products have so many applications?
MyAMINO® is good for building and regenerating our cells. ColoSTABIL® regulates the microbiome and thus promotes healthy digestion. Both also support an intact immune system, the body’s detoxification, and general well-being. So many applications at once, isn’t that dubious? No, not at all. Because: All organs and regulatory processes in our body are closely interconnected. They depend on each other and influence each other, like the small gears in a machine. This means: When we intervene in a regulatory manner in one place, positive processes are also set in motion in many other places. A balanced gut flora, for example, always also affects the immune system and our mental and emotional health. This is exactly what our systemic, holistic approach is based on.
Why are most of our products packaged in plastic jars, even though we are against plastic?
We can reassure you here. Because we also absolutely believe that the ever-growing global flood of (micro)plastic must be put to an end – for the sake of Mother Nature and our health. That’s why we use certified recycled plastic jars for our vital products. Here is the certificate.
Because what is often forgotten in the glass vs. plastic debate: Both the initial production and recycling of glass are very energy-intensive.
In terms of resource consumption and transport costs, glass does not really fare better either. For our high standards of packaging our highly effective active ingredient complexes, recycled plastic currently represents the lesser evil for us: It is shatterproof, optimally protects the contents from environmental influences, and has a significantly lower weight than glass. This saves CO₂ emissions during transport. Nevertheless, we are keeping an eye on the development of biodegradable plastic for future use of our products. For your health and for our environment!
Why do we have so many vegan products, even though we view a vegan diet critically?
For ethical reasons, we use exclusively plant-based ingredients in our vital products, with few exceptions. This makes them perfectly suitable for daily nutritional enhancement for vegans and strict vegetarians. A vegan diet is also ethically understandable in times of factory farming and massive use of antibiotics. However, from a nutritional medical perspective, we view this very critically. Why? Humans need primarily animal nutrients to supply their large brain and other tissues. Folic acid, iron, zinc, and vitamin B12 are absolute rarities in a vegan diet. Above all, proteins, because plant-based protein has a much lower bioavailability than animal proteins. Therefore, we advocate for a ketogenic diet with lots of fresh, nutrient-rich ingredients from the region in organic quality.
What exactly is the difference to other dietary supplements?
Our vital products were not created on the drawing board but were developed with great care, love, and expertise from practice. Naturopath Heinz Reinwald realized early on in his work with his proven nutritional medical metabolism program that there were no optimal dietary supplements on the market that he could unreservedly recommend to his patients.
